August 26, 2010 - Also announced today was an unique twist taking place during the upcoming pro placement camp. Tryouts will be held to find the replacement for Jeremy Drake who after 10 seasons has retired as the Jackals mascot Blade. Find out more here.
August 26, 2010 - Today the Jackals added two more players to the 10-11 roster. Forward Kevin DeVergilio and rookie forward Dustin Cameron have been signed to contracts. Read Jackals press release Dustin Cameron roster page from Prince Albert Raiders website

August 25, 2010 - The Elmira Jackals announced today that Athletic Trainer Brett Allen and Equipment Manager John Sellars will return for the 2010-2011 season. Read Jackals presser
August 18, 2010 - Today the Jackals announced the addition of two more players for the 10-11 campaign. Forward Zach Harrison who played his college career for the Minnesota State Mavericks and defenseman Brad Miller who played his college career for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux and began his pro career last season with the Idaho Steelheads. • MSU Opens 2009-10 by sweeping Bowling Green (Oct. 13, 2009) In this video Harrison can be seen leveling an opponent at the 2:00 minute mark of the video.
• MSU at Minnesota-Duluth (Oct. 20, 2009) Harrison is in on a MSU goal at the :15 mark of this video
• MSU vs. Wisconsin (Oct. 23-24, 2009) MSU scores on the rebound off a Harrison rush at the :55 second mark. Harrison scores a goal at the 1:59 mark.
• MSU sweeps Michigan Tech (Nov. 27-28, 2009) Harrison is in on the rush right as this video begins then he scores a goal at eh :30 mark. Then he scores again on a beautiful backhand wraparound starting at the :40 mark. He scores again at the 2:09 mark.
• MSU splits with Minnesota (Dec. 4-5, 2009) Harrison scores at the :09 second mark of this video, a wicked wrister off the far post. Then at 1:20 he pots an empty netter from just across the red line.
• MSU sweeps RIT (Jan. 1-2, 2010) @ 2:23 Harrison flies into the zone and picks up the puck in the near corner and in the same move makes a beautiful feed in front of the net for an assist.
• MSU sweeps Alaska Anchorage (Feb. 19-20, 2010) An Alaska turnover leads to a MSU rush and a Harrison goal beginning at the 1:10 mark.
• MSU vs. #1 Denver (Feb. 26-27, 2010) Harrison on the back check at the 2:37 mark of this video.

August 10, 2010 - The Jackals announce the date for this years Pro Placement Camp. September 4th and 5th nearly 50 players will put their skills on display for coaches from various pro levels to see. The camp is open to the public. Read more here

The Elmira Jackals have brought on AT&T as a Corporate Partner this season and they have stepped up to sponsor the Main Street entrance Rotunda. Today First Arena Staff completed installing the window panels to create the scene you see above. To view more photos of the process click here.
July 27, 2010 - Jackals hold Press Conference
July 27, 2010 - The Jackals held a press conference today at the new Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar to announce an additional affiliation with the Anaheim Ducks/Syracuse Crunch. Also announced were four player signings. Returning to the Jackals are defensemen Brennan Turner and R.J. Anderson. Also under contract are former Reading Royal defenseman, Joey Ryan and Center Brock McBride who played for the Crunch and Alaska Aces last season.
